Women Looking for Their Barack

President Barack Obama's name has become shorthand for a black man with integrity, character and spirituality, one who loves and values his wife and makes his family a priority — in other words, the kind of man that many black women had despaired of finding.

Polls indicate probably every single woman she knows is looking for her "Barack."

The story is the same elsewhere among black women, who say the new code word for Prince Charming has become so commonplace that they have been asked "Have you found your Barack?" or told others "I'm looking for my Barack."

Obama's sex appeal hasn't hurt — what other president would get high marks in a swimsuit competition? But he has touched a nerve among black women in particular, who consider him an IBM (Ideal Black Man) — educated, eloquent, tall, attractive, family oriented, ambitious and down to earth.

Well, guess what, heauxz? He ain't in the ghetto. So get your game tight, enroll in some courses, get that GED or something.

Barack is waiting for you!!!

While You're Here President Obama...

President Obama is in Berlin and since we live here, we would like to take this opportunity to request that Mr. Obama school these bitches on what it means to be a African-American, because for some reason, they don't seem to understand.

We tire of being asked on the streets 'where we really come from?" Last time we checked, there were millions upon millions of people in the United States that looked like Mr. Obama, unlike in Germany.

They love Obama, and they love African-American culture, but aside from that, what do they know?

Not alot, judging from five years here.

Today, the two leaders dismissed notions of discord between them. At the press conference, the first questioner, a German television reporter, asked about "certain mild, sometimes even wild speculation" that Obama's decision to opt for Dresden over Berlin was somehow a snub to Merkel.

Chancellor Merkel needs to get her shit together and let Obama speak wherever the fuck he wants to speak.

A little swagger in the most embarassing capitol in the world is much needed.

And also while he is here, he needs to proclaim black history month in Germany, because they are WAY behind on the times.

What the hell is "black music"?!

Dick Cheney Needs to Meet Bo's Trainer & Learn Some Tricks

As the Obama family presented their new Portuguese water dog Bo to the press corps on Tuesday, his trainer was busy talking to Us Weekly about the types of tricks and obedience commands she has been teaching him since March.

"He sits very well, he does down very well. He shakes, he rolls over," says trainer Dawn Sylvia. "He knows his off command, which means don’t touch. He understands wait."

Bo is a "typical puppy," Sylvia continues. "He wants to play and he has his crazy moments like puppies do. But incredibly enough, I have owned and worked with a lot of dogs, and he is incredibly bright and sensitive and he thinks about things and he has an excellent memory."

The president is impressed with his new pet as well, telling reporters Tuesday, "He's got star quality. …That's a good looking dog, let's face it."

Obama says the entire family will "take turns walking the dog." Including him? "Of course!"

"I love him," Malia, 10, told reporters. "He's perfect."

Obama Nekkid

Now that we've gotten your attention...

Barack Obama isn't the first presidential figure to be photographed shirtless, and likely won't be the last. He is, however, the most physically-toned U.S. leader since JFK to be caught on camera bare-chested.

But inquiring minds want to know how the photographer from Bauer-Griffin – the same California-based agency who caught Halle Berry on a movie set this month at the precise moment of her wardrobe malfunction – was able to get the exclusive shot despite an army of security surrounding the beach resort where the president-elect is vacationing with his family.

Bauer-Griffin co-owner Frank Griffin said his photographer did absolutely nothing wrong.

"He had his equipment searched by the secret service and was restricted to a certain area of the beach," just like the other photographers, "before the president-elect walked into his view about a hundred yards away," Griffin told CNN.

"There was tacit approval that he was able to shoot what he could shoot, it's a public beach," Griffin told the Washington Post, adding that his snapper was not asked to leave the public beach from where he spotted Obama.

We cannot wait for the bottomless Obama shots.

Don't shoot, Michelle!

Black Or White?!

A perplexing new chapter is unfolding in Barack Obama's racial saga: Many people insist that "the first black president" is actually not black.

Debate over whether to call this son of a white Kansan and a black Kenyan biracial, African-American, mixed-race, half-and-half, multiracial — or, in Obama's own words, a "mutt" — has reached a crescendo since Obama's election shattered assumptions about race.

Obama has said, "I identify as African-American — that's how I'm treated and that's how I'm viewed. I'm proud of it." In other words, the world gave Obama no choice but to be black, and he was happy to oblige.

But the world has changed since the young Obama found his place in it.

Intermarriage and the decline of racism are dissolving ancient definitions. The candidate Obama, in achieving what many thought impossible, was treated differently from previous black generations. And many white and mixed-race people now view President-elect Obama as something other than black.

So what now for racial categories born of a time when those from far-off lands were property rather than people, or enemy instead of family?

Debate over. He's black. We take him and Mariah.

The end!

Dem's Fighting Words!

Al-Qaida's No. 2 leader Ayman al-Zawahri posted a video message on militant Web sites Wednesday in which he referred to President-elect Barack Obama as "abeed al-beit," which literally translates as "house slave."

The 11-minute 23-second video, al-Qaida's first response to Obama's victory, appeared chiefly aimed at persuading Muslims and Arabs that Obama does not represent a change in U.S. policies.

Ayman al-Zawahri said in the message that Obama is "the direct opposite of honorable black Americans" like Malcolm X, and grouped the president-elect along with secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice into the category of "house slaves." But, al-Qaida supplied English subtitles of his speech included the translation as "house Negroes."

It's on like a pot of neckbones now!!!

Colin Does The Right Thing

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell went against his Republican party and endorsed Democrat Barack Obama for president Sunday, saying a victory by the Illinois senator would "electrify the world."

"I think we need a transformational figure. I think we need a president who is a generational change and that's why I'm supporting Barack Obama, not out of any lack of respect or admiration for Sen. John McCain," Powell said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Powell praised McCain as a war hero and a good friend for 25 years. He said both McCain and Obama are qualified to be commander in chief, but concluded Obama has "displayed a steadiness. Showed intellectual vigor. He has a definitive way of doing business that will do us well."

The retired general said he was disappointed with McCain's campaign strategy in the past two weeks, which has included bringing up Obama's ties to former 1960s radical Bill Ayers.

"Mr. McCain says that he's a washed up terrorist, but then why do we keep talking about him? And why do we have the robocalls going on around the country trying to suggest that because of this very, very limited relationship that Senator Obama has had with Mr. Ayers, somehow Mr. Obama is tainted," Powell said. "What they're trying to connect him to is some kind of terrorist feelings. And I think that's inappropriate. Now, I understand what politics is all about, I know how you can go after one another and that's good. But I think this goes too far, and I think it has made the McCain campaign look a little narrow. It's not what the American people are looking for."

Powell, who served as secretary of state in President Bush's first term, and helped make the case before the United Nations for the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003, also expressed disappointment in McCain's choice of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as the Republican vice presidential nominee.

"Now that we have had a chance to watch her for some seven weeks, I don't believe she's ready to be president of the United States, which is the job of the vice president," Powell said. "And so that raised some question in my mind as to the judgment that Sen. McCain made."

"Meet the Press" host Tom Brokaw asked Powell if he was concerned that critics may assume his endorsement of Obama is based on their shared African American race. Powell said it did not factor in his decision. If it did play a role, he said, he would have made the endorsement months ago.

Responding to Powell's endorsement of Obama, McCain said he disagreed that Obama is qualified to be president.

"We have a respectful disagreement," McCain said of Powell on "Fox News Sunday."

McCain is full of shit. Picking Palin as Vice President when a heart that frail has a veryl ikely chance of stopping forever withint he next 4 years? It's dangerous politics, and finally Powell has done the right thing after joining Bush and his cronies for his first term.

Now, if McCain thinks he is the change America needs he needs to think again, and take Miss Palin back to Alaska where she belongs!

Obama Inhales...

In the November issue of Men's Health, Sen. Barack Obama admits that his struggle to quit smoking has not been easy, especially in the midst of a stressful presidential campaign.

"There have been a couple of times during the campaign when I fell off the wagon and bummed one, and I had to kick it again," Obama says in the article. "But I figure, seeing as I'm running for president, I need to cut myself a little slack."

His advice for would-be quitters? Eliminate "certain key connections – that first cigarette in the morning, or after a meal, or with a drink," he says.

Obama, 47, says he commits to 45-minute workouts, six days a week. "I lift one day, do cardio the next," he says. "I wish I was getting a 90-mintue workout. Most of my workouts have to come before my day starts. There's always a tradeoff between sleep and working out."

We here at Society Sex propose something greener for Obama to smoke to reduce stress. It works for us!

Strange Fruit: The Sequel

Students and school leaders at a small Christian university expressed outrage Wednesday at the discovery of a life-size cardboard effigy of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama hanging from a tree on campus.

A custodian at George Fox University discovered the effigy early Tuesday and immediately removed it, President Robin Baker said. University spokesman Rob Felton said Wednesday that the commercially produced reproduction had been suspended from the branch of a tree near Minthorn Hall with fishing line around the neck.

The hanging of the effigy around the neck is seen as racist symbolism because it harkens back to lynchings of black men by white mobs, especially in the U.S. South, decades ago. Obama is aiming to become America's first black president.

Please don't use the words 'first black president' and 'aim' in the same sentence.

Sarah may have her rifle out and we all know that heaux is trigger-happy!

No Shit, Dumb-Ass!

If he's looking for the security of America's future in those binoculars, he may need a stronger pair.

Tell us something we don't know already, foolyun!

WASHINGTON - President Bush on Wednesday warned Americans and lawmakers reluctant to pass a $700 billion financial rescue plan that failing to act fast risks wiping out retirement savings, rising foreclosures, lost jobs, closed businesses and even "a long and painful recession."

"Without immediate action by Congress, America could slip into a financial panic and a distressing scenario would unfold," Bush said in a 12-minute prime-time address from the White House East Room that he hoped would help rescue his tough-sell bailout package.

"It should be enacted as soon as possible," the president said.

The bailout, which the Bush administration asked Congress last weekend to approve before it adjourns, is meeting with deep skepticism, especially from conservatives in Bush's own party who are revolting at the high price tag and unprecedented private-sector intervention. Though there is general agreement that something must be done to address the spiraling economic problems, the timing and even the size of the package remained in doubt and the administration has been forced to accept changes almost daily.

But with the nation facing the biggest financial meltdown in decades, Bush took the unusual step of calling Democrat Obama personally about the meeting, said presidential spokeswoman Dana Perino. White House aides extended the invitations to Republican McCain and to GOP and Democratic leaders from Capitol Hill.

Welcome to debt, McCain/Obama.

They should both form a line and take turns pimp-slapping Bush.

Remember what happened the last time bush asked for so much money so quickly?

Register to vote and stop the madness!

BabyGate: Here Come the Chirrenz!!!

It's BabyGate!

Sasha, Malia, Palin's mini-gang...the impending new fetus getting all sullied up in Bristol's quasi-fresh, barely post-pubescent poon?

It's enough to make us heauxz here at Society Sex almost cry. But somehow, we manage to carry on.

Who's spawn is hotter?

Barack's mocha minis or Palin's ever-expanding brood? Someone in her family could be knocked up before we finish this sentence!

Michelle, have the talk with your daughters!!
