As far as we are concerned, Justin Timberlake should have said this the day after the incident, so it is moot, but...

Justin Timberlake apparently has regrets over his treatment of Janet Jackson in the wake of their 2004 Super Bowl debacle.

At the end of the duo's half time performance, JT ripped open her jacket to reveal Jackson's naked breast. Jackson called it a "wardrobe malfunction" at the time. Nevertheless, the brief nipple flash was seen by an estimated 140 million viewers of the CBS event.

Timberlake said at the time that he had no idea that Jackson was topless and quickly distanced himself from Nipplegate.

Nearly six years later, the 28-year-old tells Entertainment Weekly that he regrets the way that he handled the situation.

"I wish I had supported Janet more. I am not sorry I apologized, but I wish I had been there more for Janet," he said.

A Michael Jackson tribute tour featuring his sister Janet and his brothers is "on the table for consideration" in the wake of his death.

"The proposal is either that the Jacksons fulfill some of Michael's London shows, or do a U.S. tour where they would perform his hits and theirs with him," wrote Friedman in his Hollywood Reporter column, citing unnamed sources.


"Janet would be the star of such a show, substituting for Michael since none of the brothers would be remotely capable of being the lead performer," he wrote.

There are rumblings that Janet Jackson has signed a record deal with Live Nation to release a new album in the spring.

She is also rumored to be reuniting with her former producer Jimmy Jam, who oversaw her landmark "Control" album as well as "Rhythm Nation 1814" and others.

According to Ace Showbiz, the 42-year-old pop star will also continue her "Rock Witchu" tour this year. However, the outing may be renamed to support her upcoming effort and Amsterdam will be the tour's first stop.

Jackson's tour began in September, the same month Jackson and her record label Def Jam parted ways over disagreements about the album's promotion.

Janet needs a serious career makeover.

Janet's Tour Cancelled (For Good This Time)

Above is the real reason why there are no sales. Ever since the world saw that, she's been in her own recession.


After the U.S. leg of her Rock Witchu tour was shut down due to an alleged bout of vertigo, Janet Jackson has now had to cancel the Japanese leg of the trek – this time due to the sinking global economy.

Jackson was due to launch five upcoming shows throughout Japan on Feb. 14 – including the major cities Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya. But concert promoter Kyodo Yokohama said the 42-year-old pop star was forced to scrap the concerts, "due to the impact of the economic crisis."

The gigs will now be rescheduled for sometime later in the year, ostensibly to give the market time to bounce back, and will be announced in March, reports E! Online.

The arket may bounce back, but never her career.

Beyonce Knowles may want to think twice before she takes another jab at the Jacksons. According to the National Enquirer, Janet Jackson “blew up” when she heard what the “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” singer had to say about her family.

“I grew up upper-class,” Knowles recently told OK magazine. “Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American, and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons. But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.”

Cue the feud, as Jackson considered those fighting words, according to an Enquirer source.

“Janet wanted to know why Beyonce had to mention her family,” the insider said. “They're not friends and barely know each other. She feels Beyonce went out of her way to tell the world she's from the upper class and the Jacksons were like a bunch of dirty gutter rats.”

Now Jackson’s allegedly ready to set the record straight and give Knowles a piece of her mind.

“Not only is Janet telling everyone who will listen that Beyonce has a lot of growing up to do and that she needs to stop trying to impress everyone, she's planning to confront Beyonce herself and read her the riot act,” the insider added.

MediaTakeOut.com is claiming that "Renee," the rumored lovechild of Janet Jackson and James DeBarge, is "considering writing a tell all to clear the air."

The gossip site says "an insider" told them: "There's so much that nobody knows about what went on in Renee's life ... She wants to come clean about everything that she's been through."


While the source refused to confirm whether or not Renee was actually Jackson's daughter, MediaTakeOut quotes her as saying: "After the book comes out everyone will know the truth."


In 2005, James DeBarge's brother, Young Debarge, told New York's Hot 97 that Janet and his brother – married in 1984 – were parents of "Renee," a daughter the couple secretly sent to live with Janet's elder sister, Rebbie.


"Her birth was top secret," Young said of Renee, now 21. "James and the Jackson family kept everything real close, real tight. No one really knew how it was working out until things kind of surfaced."


Jackson denied the claims, stating in Nov. 2005: “I do not have a child and all allegations saying so are false."

Celebrity snitches are dishing that forty year old Pop/R&B idol Janet Jackson is showing signs of pregnancy.

J.J is currently working on Tyler Perry’s upcoming feature film “Why Did I Get Married?” and there are whispers on the set that Ms. Jackson If Ya Nasty has a bun in the oven:

“Everyone on the set is whispering about it … Janet only found out 3 weeks ago when she took the film’s [mandatory physical exam]. We’re all pretty excited,” dishes an on-set tattle.

The tipster also spilled that Janet’s management team is working to have her filming schedule re-adjusted.

Janet Flees Troll

Gossip blogger Janet Charlton claims that Janet Jackson has been resting up in a "health spa recovery place" in Atlanta while recovering from the illness that has caused several cancellations on her Rock Witchu tour.

Charlton also claims that Jackson's boyfriend, music mogul Jermaine Dupri, has been banned from visiting her by her management.

"Jermaine was told 'You're not her boyfriend any more,'" Charlton wrote on her blog Tuesday. "Jermaine took off for New York and he and Janet are speaking on the phone. Where their relationship stands, no one knows for sure."

Jackson was scheduled to resume her tour Monday night at the Turning Stone Resort in New York after canceling a show over the weekend in Connecticut. A message posted on the resort and casino's Web site stated the show had been canceled due to "doctor's orders."


Meanwhile, as far Janet's concert schedule is concerned, yesterday, EUR received an email from her publicist, Kitara Garner, of W&W PR, saying the tour was back on starting tonight in Washington, DC.

It seems that the initial report of her suffering from vertigo was indeed correct and the cause of her concert cancelling problems.

Santa Barbara-based firm One Way Publicity is denying recent reports that Janet Jackson's brother Randy said in an exclusive interview with a Michael Jackson fan site that her recent hospitalization was due to vertigo.

Jackson has canceled several shows on her Rock Witchu Tour after falling ill just hours before a show last Monday in Montreal. Her camp has yet to disclose the nature of the illness.

"Rumors started by the owner of a Michael Jackson fan site has stated that they had an exclusive interview with Randy Jackson, and during this interview he said that his sister Janet had canceled shows because she has an illness called 'vertigo,'" read an e-mail sent to EURweb.

"Randy has not and will not speak publicly about the health of his sister, or her reasons for canceling any of her shows. This 'interview' never happened."

Janet Jackson Still in Recovery

Janet Jackson has postponed three more shows because of an undisclosed illness.

Her publicist said in an e-mail late Saturday that Jackson was postponing a Saturday show in Greensboro, N.C., one on Sunday in Atlanta and a third on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale.

A statement from Jackson said she arrived in Greensboro, N.C., hoping to perform there Saturday, but a local doctor advised that she not perform after it became "evident" she was not fully recovered.

Is this tour selling out? is anyone going to see it? Maybe that's why she's sick.

Or maybe all that lipo is finally starting to catch up with Miss Jackson?

Janet Jackson: This Is Sick

A representative for Janet Jackson says the singer was hospitalized after falling ill shortly before a concert.

According to statement released by W&W Public Relations, the singer canceled her concert in Montreal on Monday after she "got suddenly ill" during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.

The statement says Jackson was being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about Jackson's condition.

Janet Jackson enjoyed her boyfriend's birthday bash at NYC's Tenjune until he gave her a good reason to hightail it. It seems the party got a bit much for birthday boy Jermaine Dupri, who according to a Page Six spywitness, "vomited in Janet's lap."

A rep for Janet Jackson has confirmed that the singer has left Island Records after releasing just one album under a deal signed 14 months ago.


"At her request, the record label has agreed to dissolve their working relationship," her publicist, Patti Webster, said in a statement to EURweb.


"Now, more than 20 years after the release of her iconic album, 'Control,' Janet will have autonomy over her career, without the restrictions of a label system," the statement continued. "Always known to break new ground and set trends, Janet’s departure from Island makes her one of the first superstar artists to have the individual freedom to promote their work through a variety of avenues such as iTunes, mobile carriers and other diverse and innovative channels."


Rumblings of Janet trouble at Island began surfacing shortly after the February release of her Island Def Jam album "Discipline." Jackson reportedly felt that had very little promotional support from the label.


Executive produced by Jackson and her Ewok boyfriend, Island Urban president Jermaine Dupri, "Discipline" debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in March with 181,000 copies sold. But it has shifted only 415,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and spent just 14 weeks on the chart.


The entertainer is currently in the midst of her "Rock Witchu Tour," which kicked off on Sept. 10 in Vancouver, BC and will make stops in major cities across the United States and Canada.
