Madonna & MJ: Because She Needs The Publicity

Because she has to say something...

After last week calling Jackson 'one of the greats' (and leaving room for to perch herself on top, we figure), Madonna has more to reveal.

Well, color us colored.

Madonna was apparently interested in joining Michael Jackson on stage for one of his 50 planned concert dates in London, according to her manager Guy Oseary.

There were longtime industry rumors that the two superstars had a falling out years ago after a planned duet for Jackson's 1991 "Dangerous" album never materialized. But according to Oseary and his Twitter page, the Material Girl was hoping to perform with the King of Pop this summer.

"A month ago Madonna told me she wanted to do a surprise performance at one of Michael Jackson's UK shows," Oseary tweeted.

Yeah, but did she run that by Michael's camp?

We cry foul.

Madonna Has Mercy

At this rate, she won'T have to hire any more backup dancers for her tours as an octogenarian...

Madonna's relentless bid to adopt four-year-old Mercy James from an orphanage in Malawi is reportedly set to be approved by three Supreme Court of Appeal judges.

The singer's initial attempt was rejected in March. However, two appeal judges have already submitted reports recommending she be granted custody, and the third is said to be "in complete unison with them," according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.

The official ruling is set to be announced in court in the east African nation's capital Lilongwe on Sunday.

Madonna In Search of New Blood, Er, Children

The Material Girl is not going to stop until she has a new black child in her veiny hands!!!!

Madonna's appeal to adopt 3-year-old Merci Chifundo James from Malawi will be heard by a three-judge panel lead by the African country's head of the judiciary.

Chief Justice Lovemore Munlo and two other judges will hear the case on May 4. "Since this involves an infant it will be heard in chambers," High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal spokesman Joseph Chigona told People.com. "This is an important case; that's why the chief justice himself has taken special interest."

Madonna, 50, is not required to attend the hearing although she may if she wishes. Her appeal follows High Court Judge Esme Chombo's dismissal of the singer's application to adopt James on the premise the entertainer does not have a permanent residence in Malawi. Madonna, who last year successfully completed her adoption of another Malawian toddler, David Banda, also 3, has visited Malawi three times.

Madonna is the HO(rse) Whisperer

But the questions is..what the HELL is she saying to horses that make them wanna fling her ass upwards into the sky?!!

Madonna took a tumble while horseback riding in the Hamptons on Saturday when her mount was startled by photographers, and she suffered "minor injuries" and bruises, a spokeswoman said.

Paparazzi had "jumped out of the bushes" to photograph her, spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said.

It's at least the second fall from a horse in four years for Madonna, who recently turned 50.

She was thrown from a horse in England in the summer of 2005. She cracked three ribs and broke her collarbone and a hand in that accident.

Madonna Denied! My Personal Sweepstakes Carries On

In a surprise move, a judge on Friday rejected Madonna's request to adopt a second child from Malawi even though the country's child welfare minister had supported Madonna's application to raise the 3-year-old girl.

Madonna's lawyer, Alan Chinula, refused to discuss the ruling further, saying only that he had passed it on to the pop star, who was in the southern African nation but did not attend Friday's court hearing. Madonna can appeal the decision to Malawi's Supreme Court.

A judge who did not make the ruling but saw it and another lawyer present when the ruling was made said Madonna was rejected because of residency rules. Both spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case.

Malawi adoption regulations require that prospective parents live in the southern African nation for at least 18 months.

Can you imagine Madonna living in Malawi for 18 months? That is a reality show if there ever was one. A shitload of children running after her when she walks through the streets, hoping to be the one scooped up into her clan.

Save yourself a year and a half of anguish, Vadge and adopt me.

Angelina would never have problems like this.

Step up your game, Material Heaux!!

Madonna May Have To Buy Out Granny Too

The grandmother of 3-year-old Malawian child Mercy James has no mercy for Madonna, who is in the African country this week with the rest of her children as she attempts to adopt James from an orphanage.

Lucy Chekechiwa, 61, is reportedly close to the child after her daughter, Mercy's single mother, died at age 18. According to the Britain's The Sun, Mercy's father is believed to be alive.

"Why doesn't this singer pick other children?" Chekechiwa said of Madonna. "It is stealing. I want to go to court. I won't let her go."

translation: "cut me a check and all will be well!"

Madonna arrived in Malawi Sunday with her children, Lourdes, 12, and sons Rocco, 8, and David, 3, whom she adopted from Malawi in 2007. The singer, 50, spent about an hour in court Monday morning in the Malawi capital of Lilongwe, where a judge delayed ruling on her application Mercy until Friday. It is unknown if Chekechiwa was at court Monday.

As previously reported, criticism over her decision to adopt continued to brew over the weekend. Children's advocacy groups accuse her of using her wealth and influence to get around Malawian law requiring an 18- to 24-month assessment period before adoption.

OK, now I am one that would love to stop this adoption since it ain't ME she is adopting, but come on now. Surely this child will be better off in the lap of luxury than in a country where a third of the children are orphans?

Madonna should stop being cheap and just buy an entire family.

Let's see Brangelina top this shit!!!!

Madonna Swoops Down in Malawi

Madonna has entered the country to snatch up another Negreaux to add to her brood.

She dashed from the airport to an impoverished Malawi village to discuss a school she is planning to build, saying nothing to the hordes of reporters on her trail Sunday about whether she is planning to start the process of adopting a second Malawian child.

You see all those damn kids running after her? It's like a live lottery with her ass there! And can you blame them? If I were there, I'd have on my track shoes, a lasso, and a can of SuperGlue to latch myself permanently on to the check!

Well, they might as well give it up. Madonna is expected to appear Monday in court in Lilongwe, the capital, to sign adoption papers.

But hey, at least they were in the running!

Madonna Set To Buy Another African. Here's My Chance!!

According to unsubstantiated reports, the Material Ho is set to purchase another baby from the country of Malawi. You know what they say about black babies...

Once you buy one, you might as well buy a tribe!

And so that brings us to my plea for Vadge to adopt yours truly.

Little David needs someone to teach him the finer points of Negreaux-dom and there ain't none better to teach his ass than me.

I'm potty trained, got all my shots, and I am far less likely to sue her ass for neglect or write a tell-all when I become of legal age...because I already am.

Come on, M! Save on some Pamper Pullups and adopt this Negreaux!!!

Madonna ISO More Cash Flow

Iconic recording star Madonna is set to close out a 27-year relationship with Warner Records by releasing a Greatest Hits album this fall.

As if she needed another check or another reason to release anything else in the near future!

While the project will be jam packed with some of Madonna's biggest hits, the icon's long-time publicist has confirmed that Madonna will indeed hit the studio to record a few new songs for the project.

"Madonna does have plans to go into the studio to record a few new songs for this album," the singer's long-time publicist tells PEOPLE.

News of Madonna's 'Greatest Hits' album comes nearly two years after she signed a reported $150 million deal with Live Nation.

Madonna has sold well over 200 million albums since the release of her self titled debut in 1983.

So why is she working like she is broke? That Sticky & Stank Tour and the album did not exactly set the world on fire.

Vadge, sit your ass down, marinate for a minute and THEN return to us. Don't become a Beyonce! Sometimes, we need a break!

Madonna has settled her divorce with ex-husband Guy Ritchie by also parting with at least 50 million pounds ($76 million), the singer’s spokeswoman said Monday.

Liz Rosenberg told The Associated Press the settlement was in the range of 50 million to 60 million pounds ($76 million to $92 million) as part of their divorce agreement, a figure she said included the value of the couple’s country home, Ashcombe House in western England, which Ritchie will keep.

Rosenberg said the couple’s west London pub — the Punchbowl — would also remain with Ritchie.

The couple were reportedly worth some $525 million, the vast majority of which belonged to Madonna. Ritchie had an estimated $35 million fortune.

Their multimillion pound (dollar) settlement is about twice the size paid out in Britain’s latest high-profile celebrity divorce, that of former Beatle Paul McCartney and model Heather Mills.

“I’d assume it’s one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement,” Rosenberg said.

Isn't it just like Madonna to find a record even in a situation like this?

It's Cheaper to Keep Him

Guy Ritchie and Madonna have settled their divorce, according to the British newspaper The Sun.

The "RocknRolla" director will reportedly walk away with assets totaling around $60 million, including a 1,200-acre country estate, a London pub, and a cash settlement.

Madonna will hold on to her New York and Los Angeles homes and most of her considerable fortune, The Sun reported.

"The negotiations were relatively painless," The Sun quoted a source as saying. "Guy knew what he wanted and Madonna knew what she was keen to keep. There was a spell when Guy was in a mood to dig his heels in, but he decided this arrangement seemed reasonable and a long battle over money would make life unbearable."

Madonna is being represented by divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton, who formerly represented Paul McCartney in his divorce from Heather Mills. Shackleton reportedly negotiated Madonna's divorce terms during a day of phone calls with Guy's lawyers.

The former couple reportedly expects to reach a compromise over their three kids — Lourdes, 12, who is the daughter of Madonna and ex Carlos Leon, and sons Rocco, 8, and David, 3.

We can just see Madonna's personal ads now as she searches for a new piece:

Single, Italian slut with Type A personality with 3 children by three different men seeks man strong enough for a woman who is a man.

Madonna : Sticky & Single Tour

Pop star Madonna and Guy Ritchie, her film director husband, are planning to divorce, British reports said Wednesday.

"Despite huge attempts to patch things up they both knew deep down that divorce was on the cards. It wasn't a matter of 'if' but 'when'," a "highly-placed source" told The Sun tabloid.

Sky News and The Daily Mail also reported the split. The reports quoted unnamed sources and could not be immediately confirmed.

The Sun's show business editor, Gordon Smart, told Sky News that a statement confirming the split was expected in the next few days.

Madonna, 50, has been married to the 40-year-old Ritchie for eight years. For Hollywood, that's damn near forever!

"It's very sad. They were a great couple and brilliant parents. They just couldn't live together any more," The Sun quoted the source as saying.

Together the couple has a 7-year-old son, Rocco, and adopted son David, 2, in addition to Madonna's daughter Lourdes, 12.

Rumors of marital difficulties have plagued the couple for years. In July, when the wife of New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez filed for divorce, she blamed Madonna for the split. Rodriguez and Madonna denied any romantic relationship.

Madonna is currently on a "Sticky and Sweet" world concert tour, which is scheduled to end later this year. Ritchie's latest crime film, "RocknRolla," had its U.S. premier earlier this month.

Now Madonna and her enlarged clitoris are free to roam the streets in search of new prey.

Watch out, men!!

50 & Fabulous? Prince, Madonna and Michael Jackson

There will be endless debate as to which one from this triumvirate is still the most viable, the most talented, and least plasic surgeried, but we here at Society Sex will look beyond that to celebrate the contributions they have made to our lives.

There's not a person I know that has not done something illicit to one of these people's songs and that's saying something!

So what if none of them have the same parts they started out with in the 80s?

They're 50 this year and that's what you do at the half century mark. You pull something up/off/out!

They made music for white and black, gay and straight, male and female, and blurred the lines in their personal identities.

So get into the goddamn groove!

Below is Madonna doing what she does best.

Whatever that is!
